As a group we decided to do a version of the Beauty & the Beast. We wanted to do something that the audience would recognize. We wanted it to of course be kid friendly. We really wanted people to recognize what it was at first glance.
Of course the biggest problem we had with this project was getting the tape to stick. We picked the wrong type of wall. I told my group we should have picked a white wall. Sometimes I would think that we should have picked a more simple piece. One problem was I should have spoke up more during the project.
Next year you should definately give more notice of the project so we can get out to the stores to find different tape. Groups of two is probably the best number just because with three people someone could end up feeling left out. You should still let them pick their partners because if you chose for them, a person as shy as me would have a harder time speaking up.

Chess Piece
For my chess piece I originally wanted to do a light house. My piece was the good rook. My light house really did not turn out I didn't get to finish it like I had wanted. I wanted to do a light house just for the simple fact that it is a light.
My biggest problem was that I got very frustrated. I also ran out of time. With a tad bit more time I could have finished the top piece where the light shines through. In the end it looked like a fat candy cane.
This piece was very unsuccessful I really hated it in the end. I should have been patient. I just got so frustrated that I couldnt get the cone shape I wanted. I should have made maybe a more simple piece.
Pencil Drawing-
For my pencil drawing I wanted to do something that would stand out. I absolutely love sun and moon art when you combine them. I went onto google to get some ideas of how to draw them. Once I found one that was what I was trying to find, I free handed the picture. After I did all the sketching I had to fill the entire thing with pencils, this took forever.
For this piece it was the most successful project. I love how my picture came out. I believe that this was my best piece. For this piece I really wanted to play around with a few colors. I wanted to be able to play with blues, oranges, and yellows. I wanted to play around with the darks and lights of each color. I was shocked at how well it worked. The white colored pencils definitely made a difference in the colors, it gave it that real waxy look to it.
My Story
For my final project on my story I decided to just do a layout of my life. My life has been much like a roller coaster, the biggest and most rickety one. I just wanted to do something simple because my life is really nothing I feel like expressing. I am not really wanting to tell my story to be honest. My whole life has been filled with heart ache and so much stress its unbelievable.
My biggest problem with this assignment was figuring out how to express my life. I had no idea what to use. The decisions that I had to make is what to share and what not to share. I would prefer not to share it with anyone. Having to think through my whole life just makes me so depressed. I thought this project would be an easy way to let go some anger and it really wasn't it just made me think even more.
Im not the happiest about my final project, because I probably could have done something else but it was not an easy project for me. I just could not think of a creative way to do this project. I didnt know how to work iMovie or anything like that. I couldnt think of anything to put on a window. I guess I could have done a little more but, I tried to do the best I can. this entire project was just a struggle for me.
